Rehearsals
The Gospel Project is a considerable commitment alongside the intensive study programme at LUC. You must be available for two sessions culminating in 2hrs45mins of rehearsal time. This is for five weeks, running over block 1 and 2. Attendance is very important so that you may maintain singing fitness, reaping the positive benefits, and you keep up with the repertoire. If you have to miss a session you must contact me in advanced and catch up on the work missed. For optimal effect, members are advised to practice the exercises they learn in rehearsal and contribute to developing the show for the final performance.
Members may not be needed for every rehearsal. The rehearsals are split into workshops and sectionals. Everyone will attend the workshops and the necessary people will be called in for sectionals which involves more focussed practice on specific voice parts and technique.
